Burnley FC Women aim to keep their undefeated 2023/24 league campaign going with a trip to Yorkshire on Sunday afternoon as they face Huddersfield Town Women (2pm KO, BST).
It's back-to-back away games for the Clarets who arrive on the back of a 3-0 win over AFC Fylde Women midweek. Leah Embley netted her fourth goal of the current campaign, having been on the scoresheet in every fixture so far this season, and Aimee Kelly bagged a brace to wrap up three points against the Coasters.
Meanwhile the home side narrowly lost out to Halifax FC Women on Thursday evening, with a Darcie Greene goal separating the two sides after 90 minutes.
The Clarets currently sit top of the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women's National League table tied on 7 points with Wolves Women - after both sides played out a 1-1 draw at the Clarets home of Lancashire FA County Ground last weekend.
Huddersfield sit ninth in the table and will be aiming to make the home advantage work in their favour against Rebecca Sawiuk's side on Sunday.
The game will take place at Stafflex Arena, Huddersfield, HD8 0WA. Entrance is on the gate and is priced at £6 for adults and £4 for concessions.
