After an impressive 5-0 league win over Middlesbrough on Sunday, Burnley Women are set to start their FA Women's National League Cup journey on Thursday night.
Chorley are the opponents in Group T, with Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town making up the quartet.
Mel Lawley scored two goals on her Burnley debut against the Teessiders and further strikes from Claudia Walker, Millie Ravening and Thea Paul helped earn the Clarets their sixth straight opening day victory.
The Clarets reached the quarter-finals of this competition last season when, ironically, it was Millie Ravening, who is now a Burnley player, that knocked us out with a fine long-range free-kick at Turf Moor.
Burnley lifted silverware the last time these two teams met, with a 4-1 victory at the County Ground, Leyland, in March enough to win the Lancashire FA Women's Senior Cup.
Laura Elford opened the scoring that night and Heidi Logan made it 2-0 before half-time, with an own goal and a Walker finish putting the icing on the cake after the break.

Chorley play in the National League Division One North, the league below the Burnley, finishing 3rd thanks to their highest ever points tally last season.
The Magpies are led by manager Carmelo Ruggieri and had a strong pre-season with an 11-0 win over Curzon Ashton and a 4-3 victory over Liverpool U21s.
They started their league campaign at the weekend and drew 1-1 with Leeds United thanks to a goal from a familiar face to Clarets fans - Lizzy Hamer.
The midfielder spent nine years with Burnley up until the summer of 2024, playing a key role in the squad that earned back-to-back promotions between 2017 and 2019.
Other players to look out for include striker Hanna Chlodek, who has progressed through their Development and Reserve squads and scored twice in the win over Curzon Ashton
Supporters are welcome to attend at the Jim Fowler Memorial Ground (PR7 6HH), with tickets available on the night. They're priced at £6 for adults and £4 for concessions, while U13s go free.
Chorley will be running a raffle with entry at £1 per ticket and refreshments, including alcohol, will be available at the match alongside live music, a pizza food stall and an ice cream van.
