Burnley Women host Stoke City on Saturday with the aim of recording a 10th straight victory in all competitions that would book their place in the semi finals of the FA Women’s National League Cup.

By the time the 1pm kick-off comes around it will have been just shy of two weeks since the Clarets’ last outing, an 11-0 victory over Bradford City in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

There were six different scorers as the Bantams were brushed aside at Burnley Training Centre and Laura Elford stole the show with an impressive five-goal haul.

Last weekend’s FA Cup tie at Nottingham Forest was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch, so Rebecca Sawiuk’s side come into this one well-rested and raring to go.

Stoke have played twice since the Clarets last took to the pitch and both matches saw former Clarets score.

A 4-2 victory over Loughborough Lightning featured a first-half strike from Evie Priestley, before Millie Ravening’s brace earned a 2-1 victory over Chester-Le-Street.

Season ticket holders can claim a free ticket for the visit of Stoke City, with supporters encouraged to get behind Rebecca Sawiuk and her players as they continue their quest for cup glory.

This can be done online here, over the phone on 01282 446800 or in person at the Turf Moor ticket office. It is advised that you do this in advance of the day.

Non season ticket holders can purchase tickets at £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions. General admission seating will be in the Bob Lord Stand.

Supporters are reminded that season tickets cannot be used at the turnstiles to gain access to the stadium. A separate match ticket must be claimed, with the ticket office open from 9am on matchday.

All ticket holders can access the Club’s special Christmas themed fun zone free of charge, with access via Harry Potts Way.

Activities include a chance to meet Santa Claus in our special grotto set up, face painting, a petting zoo and candy floss.

The Clarets Store will be open from 9am and, in addition to the usual merchandise on offer, this is where supporters can purchase a matchday programme.

Priced at £2.50, the 32-page publication includes insight from Head of Women’s Football Lola Ogunbote, Head Coach Rebecca Sawiuk and captain Jade Richards.
