Burnley Women earned another valuable three points in their push for promotion on Sunday afternoon, beating Derby County 3-0 at the Don Amott Arena.
Millie Ravening and Charlie Chadwick were on target in the first half, before Jade Richards completed the scoring as the clock hit 90 to round off a productive day in the East Midlands.
There was one change to the side that started last week’s victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Emma Siddall replacing Millie Chandarana and taking up the right wing-back role.
The latter was on the bench alongside Isabella Fisher and Heidi, while Claudia Mummery-Walker and last week’s match winner Chadwick continued to lead the line.

Yana Daniëls’ fifth-minute half volley from the edge of the area was the first shot of the afternoon, but it was comfortable for Ewes ‘keeper Lucy Jones.
Jones then did well to repel a dipping Chadwick strike and Ravening had a free-kick sighter in the 24th minute, but it clattered into the Derby wall.
Kirstie Levell was made to work for the first time when Rebecca May took aim from 40 or so yards, but it was Burnley who took the lead after a sustained period of pressure.
Free-kick specialist Ravening was given an opportunity to strike from 25 yards, and this time she found the bottom left corner for her 17th goal of the season in all competitions.
It was 2-0 in the second minute of stoppage-time. Brenna McPartlan’s weighted pass set Mummery-Walker free in the channel, and the striker crossed for Chadwick to finish inventively.

Ross Wallace replaced McPartlan with Chandarana at the break and Chadwick’s goal seemed to give our number 19 extra fire in her belly as she had five attempts within 12 minutes of the restart.
None of them tested Jones, though, and the striker made way for Heidi in a double change on the hour that also saw Naomi Hartley replace Charley Docherty.
Further switches later saw Izzy Fisher and Tilly Wilkes take the places of Mummery-Walker and Paul respectively, and Fisher found the side netting shortly afterwards.
Heidi took on set piece duties since her introduction and the former Stoke City forward set up our third goal, crossing perfectly from a corner for Richards to volley in from four yards.
The result is the Clarets’ 17th victory and 15th clean sheet of this impressive FAWNL Northern Premier Division season, and Wallace’s side remain top of the pile with three games to play.
