Millie Ravening & Evie Priestley have both been named in the Team of the Season for the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women’s National League, as chosen by panellists from the ‘Since 71’ website.
Starting in the 2021/22 campaign, a Team of the Season is chosen by the panellists from both the Northern Premier Division and Southern Premier Division separately.
Retaining her place in the north’s side, midfielder Ravening - who also won the Club's own Women's Player of the Season award - has now been chosen in back-to-back seasons.
Striker Priestley meanwhile was named for the first time, with a maximum of two players from each club allowed to be picked.
The Clarets pair both featured in every one of Burnley’s 22 league games this term, with 21-year-old Ravening – the vice-captain – netting 18 times and recently picking up the golden boot having ended the season as the division’s joint-top scorer.
Burnley-born Priestley meanwhile has been at the Club since she was nine, and this season struck 13 times in the league, including a historic first-ever Burnley FC Women goal at Turf Moor with the leveller in a 2-1 victory from behind against Liverpool Feds.
Accordingly, combined, the pair tallied 31 of the 66 league goals netted by the Claret Women in 2022/23. They also accrued nine ‘Opposition Player of the Match’ votes between them in the 22 league games.
