The claret women recently announced their pre-season fixture schedule, with four away games lined up against a mix of higher and lower tiered opposition.
First up, the team will travel to Scotland to visit Celtic, of the Scottish Women's Premier League, before a date closer to home against FC United Women of the Northwest Women's Regional League Premier.
Sheffield United of the Women's Championship and Liverpool Feds of the FA Women's National League Division One North, round up the schedule.
The FA Women's National League are due to release the fixtures for the upcoming season this week, with Brighouse Town and Wolves joining the Northern Premier League.
First Team Manager Matt Bee said: "It's a competitive league, we're looking forward to it.
"We know the quality in the league and going into this season, I'm sure every manager will be saying it, it's about consistency. It's a tough league, it's one that if you take your eye off the ball, teams can take points off you.
"For us it's about retaining our identity, attacking games, not fearing the challenges and bringing an energy."
"I think both the new additions to the league will be strong. We know Brighouse well from when we won the league, they are always well set up, always difficult, they will be a tough challenge. I think anyone that's underestimating them needs to reconsider that.
"Wolves will be very strong as well. They've been tier 3 quality for a number of seasons. They've been unfortunate that they didn't get the promotions obviously because of the seasons being cut short due to covid.
"They won't be two new teams that people will be looking at thinking they're going to be fighting to stay up, I think they will come in and have a really good season. We're certainly not underestimating them here."
