Following Wednesday evening's Lancashire FA Women's Challenge Cup Final win, Burnley FC Women are back at the County Ground in Leyland tomorrow as they welcome Stoke City Women in the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women's National League.
The clarets arrive at the contest on a high from the midweek victory which saw them lift the trophy in front of supporters, following a 4-1 win over AFC Fylde Women.
Forward Evie Priestley scored two on the night, with Courtney Willis and a trademark Millie Ravening strike sealing the win.
Attention returns to the league tomorrow with the Stoke visit but Burnley will be looking to continue the momentum. When the two sides last met in November, the Clarets won 2-0 with goals from Katie Thomas and Sarah Greenhalgh.
Burnley's last outing in the league came against a well-organised Brighouse Town Women on the 16th March, with the Yorkshire side securing the three points on the night.
Stoke City Women were last in action away to Nottingham Forest Women, with the home side running out winners 2-0, therefore the Potters will be looking to bounce back this weekend.
Today's game will take place at Lancashire FA’s County Ground, Leyland. KO is 2pm and admission is free!
