Following a week’s break, Burnley FC Women are back in action on Sunday as they welcome Hull City Ladies.
The Clarets will face the Tigresses at Bamber Bridge FC, in a change of venue for this home game only.
A 1-0 win over Derby County Women in their last game played saw Burnley climb to fourth in the table, in the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women's National League.
Hull City Ladies are currently bottom of the table and will be looking for points in Lancashire, following a loss to Wolves Women last weekend.
Burnley FC Women Goalkeeping Coach, Dominic Cheetham is looking forward to the fixture.
“In training all the girls have been great. We have had a tough spell of fixtures within a short space of time and the results we have gained over that period has been fantastic. As staff we have been really impressed with the application of the girls and the results, they have managed to grind out recently against difficult opposition.
“We won’t underestimate Hull City Ladies, we have played them twice now I believe this season, once in the league and once in the cup. We know what they are about and the threats they can impose. However, in terms of our preparations, we won’t leave a stone unturned and will prepare in the professional manner that we usually do.”
The game will take place on Sunday 13th February at Bamber Bridge FC, Preston, PR5 6UX. KO is 2pm and admission is free.
Please note, the change of venue is just for Sunday’s game.
