Clarets youngster Chris Conn-Clarke has joined Lancashire neighbours Chorley on a work experience loan.
The winger, 18, moves to the National League North side for the chance of first-team football and is set be involved when the Magpies face Kidderminster Harriers at Victory Park on Saturday.
Conn-Clarke, who trained with Chorley on Thursday night, featured in a first-team friendly for the Clarets against Tranmere in pre-season and then started the current campaign in the club's U23s side after signing a third-year deal scholarship deal at Turf Moor over the summer.
The Northern Ireland Under-19 international joined Burnley from Glentoran in the summer of 2018 on an initial two-year scholarship.
A regular at youth-team level, he helped the Clarets reach the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup last season before graduating to the U23 ranks.
And he now gets the chance to step up to senior football for the first time with Chorley, who are three games into their league season and still looking for their first point following relegation from the National League top-flight last season, but who are through to the first-round proper of the FA Cup.
