Happy birthday to U18s forward Adam Abbas, who turns 18 on Monday!

TUESDAY

Burnley U21s v Morecambe Reserves | Central League Cup | 1pm

The first Burnley match of the week sees Andy Farrell’s U21s welcome Morecambe to the training ground for their third and final Central League Cup Group A match.

The young Clarets came out on top when these two teams met two weeks ago in the Lancashire FA Senior Cup, winning on penalties after 90 minutes couldn’t separate the two sides.

Blackpool U18s v Burnley U18s | Lancashire FA Professional Youth Cup | 7pm

Tony Philliskirk’s side continue their Lancashire FA Professional Youth Cup campaign with a semi-final against Blackpool on Tuesday.

The young Clarets beat Wigan Athletic 3-2 to get to this stage and will face either Blackburn Rovers or Bolton Wanderers in the final if they can advance again.

Supporters are welcome to attend at Bamber Bridge’s SFC Stadium at Irongate (PR5 6UX), with entry free for all. Alternatively, keep an eye on X @ClaretsAcademy for updates.

Birthdays

There are several more birthdays across the Club this week! Best wishes to U21s winger Joao Mendes, who celebrates on Tuesday.

Later in the week, first-team midfielder Jonjo Shelvey and U18s winger Braidin Derbyshire turn a year older on Thursday.

Finally, U18s defender Michael Stanley’s special day is Friday.

SATURDAY

Preston North End v Burnley | Emirates FA Cup | 12.15pm

Scott Parker’s Clarets turn their attention to the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup this weekend, with Lancashire neighbours Preston North End the opponents.

The remaining tickets from our allocation of 5,686 go on general sale today, and can be purchased online here, over the phone on 01282 446800 or in person at the Turf Moor ticket office.

If you won’t be at Deepdale, you can watch live in the UK on BBC iPlayer and/or follow live updates on the Club’s official social media channels.

Burnley U18s v Crewe Alexandra U18s | U18s Professional Development League | 11am

After their midweek cup action, our scholars turn their attention back to the league against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.

The U18s are currently three points clear at the top of the North section table and Saturday’s 2-0 triumph at Coventry City was a fifth straight league victory.

SUNDAY

Burnley Women v Rugby Borough Women | Northern Premier Division of the Women’s National League | 2pm

Following a weekend without a game, Burnley Women will be raring to go again when Rugby Borough visit Lancashire on Sunday.

Rebecca Sawiuk’s side are competing at the top end of the table and with seven league games to go, your support could make a huge difference.

Burnley season ticket holders can gain entry for free by showing their season ticket at the turnstiles. Other adults are £5, while concessions are £2.
