Burnley Football Club are pleased to confirm that Sam Waller has signed a three-year deal with the Club, this his first professional contract.
First joining the Club aged 12 in the summer of 2016, the young goalkeeper has progressed through the Clarets academy, including the youth team, and was a mainstay for the U23s in 2021/22.
The 18-year-old awaits his first-team debut, named on the bench away at Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League last season, but has already been heavily involved at senior level working alongside Arijanet Muric, Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Will Norris & Denis Franchi this term.

And the Stockport-born teenager has now extended his stay with the Club until June 2025.
Waller said: “I’m buzzing to have signed this new deal at Burnley and to be staying here for the foreseeable future.
“Being a part of it from such a young age, it’s a proud moment signing a first professional contract, and I’m looking forward to continuing my development here.
“I want to continue working hard, pushing forward, and working alongside some top goalkeepers, players, and staff.”
