Burnley Football Club can confirm that Sam Waller & Will Hugill have extended their youth loans with Lancaster City & Leek Town respectively.
Both had seen their initial deals expire on 6th November, but will remain with their loan Clubs following successful spells.
Goalkeeper Waller, who won the Dolly Blues’ Player of the Month award for October, will now remain at the Giant Axe until 3rd January 2023.
Meanwhile, versatile midfielder Hugill – who has two goals to his name for Leek already – has now put pen to paper on a deal which is set to see him stay at Harrison Park until 4th December 2022.
The pair’s new deals take the tally of U21s out on loan across the Football League & non-league pyramid back up to eight.
Those who are on loan with Clubs in the non-league system, including Waller & Hugill, are also eligible to play for Burnley during their youth loans.
