Burnley Football Club are able to confirm that Vitinho has joined Brazilian side Botafogo in a permanent move for an undisclosed fee.
The full-back joined the Clarets in the summer of 2022 and played an integral role in Burnley’s promotion to the Premier League in his first season at Turf Moor.
After totalling 80 appearances over his two years, the defender will now return to Brazil.
The Club would like to thank Vitinho for his efforts and wish him all the best.
