Burnley U21s are set for a night under the Turf Moor lights on Tuesday evening as they take on Coventry City in the U21s’ Professional Development League, kick-off 7pm.
The Clarets currently sit 3rd in the Professional Development League table and have won their last three against Peterborough United, Barnsley and goals from Tom Tweedy & Tommy McDermott gave them a 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic last time out.
Ahead of the game the team sit one point behind Hull City in second and six behind leaders Sheffield United.
Coventry City meanwhile sit 10th in the table and have won one in their last three, an emphatic 8-0 victory over Birmingham City two weeks ago but lost to Sheffield Wednesday and Fleetwood Town last time out.
Jack Cork, who is working as assistant to U21s Manager Andy Farrell in an Academy Coach/Player capacity spoke about how much support from the Clarets fans means to the young players and urged any supporters who were free on Tuesday night to come along and cheer on the team.
Season ticket holders can attend free of charge but will need to claim a complimentary ticket in order to access the stadium.
This can be done via the ticket office online, over the phone on 01282 446800 or in person at the Turf Moor. Supporters are advised to claim their complimentary ticket in advance of matchday, therefore avoiding any ticket office queues on the night.
Non season ticket holders can purchase tickets at £5 for adults and £2 for concessions. Again, this should be done ahead of matchday.
The Clarets Store at Turf Moor will be open on Tuesday night until 7pm.
Updates from the game can also be found on X @ClaretsAcademy and a match report will follow the final whistle on burnleyfc.com.
