Having finished 2nd in the Professional Development League North section, Burnley U21s will face AFC Bournemouth in the semi-finals of the national play-offs.

The young Clarets travel to the Cherries’ Vitality Stadium on Monday 12th May, with kick-off at 7pm.

Andy Farrell’s team claimed an impressive 59 points from their 31 league matches, courtesy of 19 wins and two draws.

The regular season ended with a comfortable 4-1 victory at Cardiff City earlier this week, with Kamarni Ryan and Tommy McDermott netting in the first half before Tom Tweedy and Benji Wetshi added the finishing touches after the break.

South section winners Bournemouth finished the season in style, winning 13 straight league matches and beating Wigan Athletic 5-2 on the final day.

The South coast side came out on top when we travelled to the Vitality back in August, with goals from Charlie Veevers and Brandon Ly not enough to prevent a 3-2 defeat.

Supporters are welcome to attend the game in person, with tickets priced at £7 for adults and £5 for concessions.
