Burnley U21s continue their Premier League Cup campaign with the visit of Fulham on Monday evening (7pm KO).
In what is a busy period for the young Clarets, the match follows quickly on from Friday afternoon’s Professional Development League win over Birmingham City.
Andy Farrell’s team were 2-1 victors with Logan Pye opening the scoring before Josh Home levelled for the Midlanders.
However, new recruit Mikey O’Neill, who signed just days prior after impressing on trial, struck with less than 10 minutes to play to earn Burnley all three points.
The U21s’ last Premier League Cup Group G outing came against Brentford in January, which finished 2-2.
Fulham suffered their first Premier League 2 defeat since September last weekend, losing 2-0 to Liverpool.
The Whites, who are led by Head Coach Hayden Mullins, have enjoyed their PL Cup campaign to date and sit top of Group G with three wins and a draw from five matches.
Supporters can attend this fixture at the County Ground (PR25 2LF), with Burnley season ticket holders able to gain free entry. Other adults are priced at £5 and concessions are £2.
