Burnley’s U21 side will host Blackburn Rovers at the Burnley Training Centre next Friday – 5th May – in the semi-finals of the Lancashire Senior Cup (10.30am KO), and the tie will take place behind closed doors.
Initially scheduled for this afternoon – 28th April -, the County Cup fixture had to be postponed due to the visitors’ needing to re-arrange one of their league fixtures.
The winners of the semi-final will face Barrow AFC in the competition’s final after the Bluebirds won their last-four tie against Accrington Stanley earlier this week.
Accordingly, here’s how the U21s fixtures look for the remainder of the campaign.
·      MON 1 MAY - Swansea City (H - 2pm), Turf Moor
·      FRI 5 MAY - Blackburn Rovers (H - 10.30am – LFA Senior Cup SF), Burnley Training Centre
·      TUE 9 MAY - Watford (A - 1pm), Vicarage Road
