The Clarets’ U21 side host Coventry City at the Burnley Training Centre on Sunday afternoon in Professional Development League action (5th March, 1pm KO).
Having won 3-2 away at Hull City on Monday evening, the U21s go in search of a second maximum points haul in just six days as they look to mount a late push for a play-off finish come the end of the campaign.
Seb Thompson netted in the last minute against the Tigers to complete the comeback on a cold night in North Ferriby having twice come from behind.

Marcel Lewis & Ne-Jai Tucker were the other two goalscorers for Burnley, who head into Sunday’s meeting with the Sky Blues three points outside the top two, with games in hand on all of the teams above them.
Only the top two will progress into the national play-offs come the end of the season competing against the top two in the Southern Section of the PDL.
Sunday’s opponents Coventry meanwhile sit 6th with 21 points from 19 games. Their previous outing came at home against Birmingham City on Tuesday afternoon, running out 2-0 victors with goals from Harrison Nee & Marco Rus.

That was a first win in five for the Sky Blues, headed up by ex-Scotland youth international John Dempster.
When the Clarets made the trip to the Midlands for the reverse fixture back in October, they earned all three points with a hat-trick from Dara Costelloe.
