Burnley U18s continue their league action on Saturday morning (KO 11am) as they head to Christopher Park to face Wigan Athletic.
Last time out, the Clarets secured an FA Youth Cup victory against league leaders Birmingham City in the FA Youth Cup, with a 4-3 penalty shoot-out victory at the Lancashire FA County Ground, Leyland.
Tony Philliskirk's side currently sit seventh in the U18 Professional Development League and a win this weekend could lift the team to third.
Meanwhile, Saturday's opponents Wigan managed by Marc Maddocks, are 10th in the table but were 6-1 winners in their previous game.
The last time the two sides faced each other, the points were shared in a 0-0 at Burnley Training Centre.
Lucas Wane had an early effort when he curled a free-kick around the Latics' wall, which rebounded off the inside of the post.
Vernon Masara also tried his luck as Johnson looped a pass into the area, but the youngster could only head towards goal and into the hands of Latics' keeper Matt Wonnacott.
The last opportunity was set up by Callum West who travelled down the wing and made a short pass to Masara, who struck an effort just wide of the target.
