Burnley U18s are next in action on Saturday 5th April when they welcome Ipswich Town to the Burnley Training Centre for an 11am kick-off.
The young Clarets dropped points in their last Professional Development League outing, losing 4-0 to Hull City at the Bishop Burton College.
With much of his squad involved with the U21s set up the day prior, manager Tony Philliskirk included six of the Club's U16s group and many of his first-year scholars in his matchday squad, which proved to be a valuable learning experience.
Prior to that the team recorded a clean sheet at Watford and an emphatic victory over the Tigers, so will be keen to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.
The young side currently sit 6th in the Northern section of the table with 32 points, which have come from eight wins and eight draws in 23 matches.
Saturday's opponents Ipswich Town are 7th in the 10-team South section of the table with 26 points from 21 matches.
For context, Burnley play every team in the North section home and away and every team in the South section once - either home or away.
Manager Olly Lee was appointed in January and his team have had a mixed run of results since then, tending to win one and then lose one. They were beaten 3-1 by Millwall last time out.
Supporters are invited to attend the game at the Burnley Training Centre and get behind the players, with entry to the match being free. Parking is available for free on a first-come-first-served basis too.
If you can’t make it, you can follow updates on X @ClaretsAcademy and a report will be published on www.burnleyfootballclub.com post match.
