Tony Philliskirk's side will be looking to bounce back from last week's defeat, as the Clarets host Sunderland on Saturday at Leyland.
The last time the two sides met, was back in October, when Philliskirk's youngsters came away 3-1 winners at the Academy of Light.
And a win on Saturday for the young Clarets could move them to fifth in the U18 Premier League table.
12th placed Sunderland have just two wins this season and have only played twice in 2021, due to a handful of games postponed due to weather conditions.
The Blackcats will also be looking to bounce back from defeat, after losing 6-0 last weekend to Liverpool.
And the Clarets could be without strikers Sam Unwin and Joe McGlynn, who may be involved once again with the U23s again on Monday against West Bromwich Albion.
But forward Michael Mellon could feature again, after returning to action last weekend, after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The game at the County Ground, Leyland, kicks off at 1:00pm on Saturday afternoon.
Live updates will be avaliable on throughout the game on Twitter (@ClaretsAcademy), followed by report and reaction.
