Scott Twine made his first league start in claret and blue on Tuesday evening, in the Clarets 1-1 draw with Millwall at The Den.
Coming back from an injury that kept him out earlier in the season, Twine was pleased to be named in the starting 11 for the fixture.
“It felt good, it’s something I’ve waited a long time for, and I’ve worked hard for. I had a poor start to the season with getting that injury and coming back longer than I thought I would, which is a bit frustrating. The team’s been flying so it’s been difficult to get a start, but I got one today and hopefully I get some more soon.”
Tom Bradshaw's goal for the home side saw the points shared, after Ashley Barnes put the visitors ahead in the 51st minute.
Reflecting on the point, Twine added: “Yeah I think we’re a bit disappointed with the point but we said at the start of this run of lots of games in a busy period that we weren’t going to get too high and we weren’t going to get too low."

The busy run of games saw the Millwall visit come three days after another trip down south, with the team securing a 1-0 win over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.
“I think looking back it is a good point in the end, four points from the two games I think that’s really good, especially in the position we’re in, that’s the main thing.”
Ashley Barnes was on the scoresheet at both Luton and Millwall and Twine is enjoying his partnership with the striker.
“I love playing with Barnsey. He’s a great guy as well, he’s constantly onto me about being in positions, when he gets it, when I get it etc. So, yes, I love playing with Barnsey and I’m glad he got the goal there.”

Twine's return to the side has been celebrated, following a long spell out with an injury. When asked about a small knock which saw him change his boots in the second half he said: “It looks like everything should be fine. I think the boots have gone! Apart from that, hopefully it’s all fine.”
Despite not claiming all three points on the night, the Clarets have been in incredible form and were last defeated in the league back in November against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, and Twine is happy to see the unbeaten run keep going.
“Definitely, and the thing we said in there, it’s so important we don’t lose those type of games today, which can easily be done because Millwall are a great team. Especially at home, we knew it was going to be a dangerous game. So, I think a point in the end is a good result.”
