The Clarets are likely to be without at least three senior players for their trip to Everton.
But with an extended break from action on the way, boss Sean Dyche is hopeful of having everyone fit and firing for the final stage of the season.
Ashley Barnes remains sidelined – although the striker is making good progress in his recovery from a thigh injury which has kept him out since a goal-scoring performance against Fulham five games ago.
Defender Charlie Taylor is set to miss Saturday’s visit to Goodison Park after suffering a tweaked hamstring in last Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
And after a hamstring injury kept Jack Cork out of the game against the Gunners, the trip to Merseyside to face the sixth placed Toffees is also likely to come too soon for the midfielder.

Winger Robbie Brady will have an ongoing Achilles heel issued assessed before Dyche can finalise his plans for the 5.30pm kick-off when the Clarets – who have lost just once in their last seven league games – will be looking to sign off on a high.
Dyche’s men then sit out next weekend’s fixtures after their game against Leicester City – who will be in FA Cup quarter-final action – was moved forward to earlier this month when Burnley recorded another of their history-making five successive home league draws.
And a two week break for international fixtures then follows, meaning the Clarets next play in the Premier League at Southampton over the Easter weekend of 2nd - 5th April, when Dyche hopes to have all his personnel available for a final push.
“A big part of the rest of our season will be the strength of our squad, I believe,” added the Burnley boss, whose side is currently 15th in the table, four points above the relegation places.
“Bizarrely, after having so many games, we’ve now got an extra week in this international break.
“We hope the extra week on top of the international weeks will give us the chance to get everyone fit and I think that will give us a much stronger chance of winning games going forward.”
