Burnley Football Club are delighted to announce the arrival of Belgium international Mike Tresor from Genk.
The attacking midfielder joins on a season-long loan deal and becomes the Clarets’ 13th new summer signing.
After joining the Clarets, the 24-year-old said: “I’m feeling happy, really happy. Deadline day but really happy to be here finally.
“The project and of course the vision of the coach here, I had a long discussion with the coach so that convinced me at the end as well to make the decision.
“I can’t wait to join the group. I’m excited to see the team play and hopefully after, join them on the field.”

Tresor began his youth career with Anderlecht before moving to the Netherlands to join Eredivisie second division side NEC.
After two seasons with NEC scoring seven goals in 29 games, the forward then signed for top-tier side Willem II.
The 24-year-old scored 14 times 60 appearances in the Dutch to-flight with Willem II before his transfer to Genk in the Belgian Pro League in the summer of 2021.
Featuring just under 100 times for Genk and enjoying a fine campaign last season with eight goals, Tresor also played against the Clarets in this summer’s pre-season friendly in Belgium.
