Information regarding a ticket exchange for last game of the season

Due to demand for tickets exceeding the stadium capacity Burnley FC are trialling a ticket exchange for the final game of the season against Cardiff City.

This will allow 2022/23 season ticket holders, that are unable to attend the game to chance return their tickets to the club where they will be then offered to other supporters.

In exchange, if the ticket is resold, the season ticket holder will receive the value of their season ticket seat minus a £1.50 admin fee as On Account credit that can be used for future ticket purchases.

Season ticket holders will have until 24 hours before the game to return their seat to be eligible.

Tickets bought through the Ticket Exchange are strictly non-refundable. Supporters should be aware that availability is likely to fluctuate, and tickets are only available based on season ticket holders releasing their seats.

Please note that the Barnfield Stand is excluded from the Ticket Exchange.

Who will have access to the new Ticket Exchange?

The Ticket Exchange will be available to everyone via the home tickets section of the website Home Games | Burnley FC (burnleyfootballclub.com ). You can select buy back option on the top right hand corner and then release the seat you no longer require.

How can I buy tickets on the Ticket Exchange?

Fans can buy available tickets by visiting the home tickets section of the website Home Games | Burnley FC (burnleyfootballclub.com ). All available tickets will be displayed and can be bought on a first come first served basis. Availability could fluctuate dependent on when a season ticket holder returns tickets.

What happens if my seat isn’t resold?

If a season ticket holder returns their seat and it doesn’t get resold then no monies will be added to the customers On Account.

What is On Account and how I access it?

All supporters with a Clarets number will have an online account with the club. On Account is a flexible feature which allows supporters to instantly see and manage the monies they have with the club.

Where can I find my 'On Account' balance and how can I use my On Account credit?

Your balance can be found in the On Account section, which can be found on the dropdown menu of the ticketing website. Please ensure you are logged in.

You can then view and use the balance as a payment method when checking out during the sales process to renew your season ticket or pay for another match ticket in the future.
