Burnley Football Club can confirm that U23s forward Max Thompson has joined Sunderland for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old joined the Clarets in December 2019 and became a regular in the U23s side, before making his Premier League debut at Manchester City in June 2020 in 'Project restart'.
The Club would like to thank Max for all his efforts during his time at Turf Moor and wish him all the best for the future.
