Burnley Football Club are pleased to announce that attacking midfielder Seb Thompson has joined the Clarets, after a successful trial period.
The 19-year-old, who was a part of Vincent Kompany's squad in Lisbon last week, has spent time in both Liverpool's and Derby County's academies as a youngster.
Thompson, who can also operate as a winger, has represented England at U17 level.
The Worcester-born teenager said: "I'm really pleased to have signed here, I'm just pleased that Burnley have given me the opportunity.
"I'm looking forward to just getting my head down now and showing everyone what i can do.
"Last week was such a good experience with the first team in Lisbon, seeing what they do on and off the pitch, i learnt so much.
"The staff and players have been so welcoming since i arrived on trial and it just feels like the right place to be for me."
