Defender Charlie Taylor spoke to the media this morning looking ahead to this weekend's clash with Chelsea at Turf Moor.
The Left-back, who played his first 90 minutes on Tuesday night since the beginning of the year after picking up an injury, discussed the Clarets' recent performances, Saturday's opponents and returning to the side.
Taylor on his first start since January 2nd:
“It’s not easy to be fair, obviously you lose match fitness, which you can only regain through playing matches.
“It’s a difficult one, but I think I gained a lot from playing 90 minutes on Tuesday night.
“But I was happy to get a full match in the legs and get through the game without any reactions, obviously we result was disappointing, but personally a positive to come out unscathed.”

Taylor on the side's recent improvement of performances and results:
“I don’t think there is one single reason or point, as to why things have changed being honest.
“I think there’s a collection of quite a few things, Wout (Weghorst) has come in and he has been fantastic, Connor (Roberts) has come in at right-back and he’s done really well.
“There have been a few changes within the side since the Leeds game and it’s been well documented that we had a meeting after that match and some home truths got said.
“We all know that we’re in the bottom three and we have to get start getting results to get out of that, but the last few weeks have shown what we can do, and we know what we need to do.”

Taylor on Chelsea playing 120 minutes on Sunday in the Carabao Cup final, followed by an FA Cup clash with Luton Town on Wednesday:
“They’ve had two tough games in a short period of time, but we know they’re a fantastic side with a lot of depth to their side.
“They have a lot of world class players that can come into it and chop and change the team.
“I imagine there will be a few changes from the side that played in the FA Cup, but they have had a lot of games all season, so I’m sure they will be used to it now.”
Taylor on recent record against the 'Big Six':
“We’re at home, where recently we have been good, apart from the other night. Especially against the big teams, a point against Man United and beating Spurs, even the Liverpool defeat I think we deserved something from that.
“Our record has been fairly good against the bigger sides at home recently, we also picked up points at Chelsea and Arsenal away this season too, so we know what we can do, and we will look to do that on Saturday.”
