Burnley Football Club can confirm that Charlie Taylor has now left the club on the conclusion of his contract.
We would like to thank Charlie for his loyal service over the years and wish him all the very best for the future.
The left-back arrived in Burnley from Leeds United in the summer of 2017 and soon became a key figure amongst the Clarets dressing room.
After making his debut in a Carabao Cup win over Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park in his first campaign, the defender was then an ever-present in the Premier League the following year playing every game.
That season also saw the Clarets secure a 7th place finish, which ensured UEFA Europa League football in 2018/19, where Taylor featured in five of the six European fixtures.
A regular amongst the starting XI in the years to come, the full-back tallied up over 150 games in the top-flight, as well as helping Burnley seal promotion back to the Premier League in the 2022/23 season with over 30 appearances in the title-winning campaign.
The experienced defender fired in his first goal for the Club last season with a sweet finish from outside the area against Bournemouth.
Taylor departs Turf Moor following seven seasons and everyone at Burnley Football Club wishes him all the best.
