Striker reflects on late equaliser in Bournemouth

Armando Broja was delighted to grab his first Burnley goal in the last minute at the Vitality Stadium, as the Clarets clinched a late point in a 1-1 draw with the Cherries.

The Albania forward was left more than pleased after the game, after featuring as a substitute to head home the equaliser from fellow substitute Marcus Edwards' pin-point cross in the dying stages.

FIRST GOAL COMES AT PERFECT TIME

"It feels amazing to be honest, it couldn't have come at a better moment.

"I saw Marcus get on the ball out wide and I know he has a really good delivery and an eye for an assist, I knew as soon as I saw him cut in on his left I needed to get into a good position.

"He put the ball right on the money and I just had the task of getting it in from close range and thankfully I was able to do that, so it's a really nice feeling and it's come at the perfect time for me and the team."

BATTLE AT THE VITALITY

"Bournemouth are a really good side and we knew how dangerous they could be, but I felt we came into the game as it went on and it was abit hectic at times as well.

"It was a battle out there throughout the whole game really, but look we're fortunate enough to come away with the draw and we could have maybe even nicked a late goal at the end too, but we take the point and move on."

ENDING LOSING RUN

"It's not easy when you're on the back foot in the Premier League and everyone knows that, it can be very tough and it can be very unforgiving at times.

"Seven losses on the bounce isn't easy at all for us, but that's come to an end today and we can build on that now moving forward."

"We take the point and move on to next week now, back at home against Everton, then we have another home game after that, so it's important we build on this now."
