Further details are on the SuperTram website. Hillsborough Stadium is situated in the Northwest of Sheffield just six miles from the M1 and three miles from the city centre. The South Stand is the main stand, housing the main reception, the directors’ box, private executive boxes and hospitality suites. The dugouts and tunnel are also situated within this stand. Behind one of the goals is the Spion Kop – the largest of the stands – housing over 11,000 fans.
The North Stand runs along the entire side perimeter of the pitch. Situated behind the other goal on the Leppings Lane side of the ground, the West Stand is where visiting supporters are housed with an upper and lower tier, with a maximum allocation of 4,700. Away fans are normally placed in the upper tier of the West Stand, but, if a small away support is expected then the open corner between the Leppings Lane and North Stand is only made available. There are several supporting pillars in the West Stand, which could impede your view. On the concourse food on sale includes; a range of pies, sausage rolls, burgers and hot dogs.
