The Clarets will be backed by away fans for the first time in almost 18 months when they kick off their public pre-season schedule at Oldham Athletic today (Saturday).
Sean Dyche’s men face the League Two Latics - managed by ex-England international Keith Curle - at Boundary Park in a 1pm kick-off.
And away supporters – denied the chance to watch the team by the pandemic – will be accommodated in the Chadderton End Road of the ground.
Turnstiles will be open from 12 noon with supporters advised to arrive well in advance of kick-off.
Admission is by cash only at the gate at the following prices: adults - £10, under 18’s and over 65s - £5.
Supporters are also advised that food and drink kiosks will not be open due to on-going refurbishment work at Boundary Park.
Fans will be allowed to enter the ground with pre-packed food and soft drinks in plastic containers, but alcohol is not permitted.
Oldham advise that anyone found consuming alcohol in view of the pitch will be ejected and face possible criminal prosecution.
Full commentary of the game with Phil Bird and Andy Payton will be free to listen to with a registration to Clarets Plus.
