Green Football Weekend
Burnley's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Norwich takes place during Green Football Weekend (February 3-5).
The English Football League and its clubs are encouraging their supporters to make climate friendly actions, both in their daily life and in their matchday routine.
Supporters will be able to avail of a number of sustainable offers and services ahead of the game ranging from transport to vegan food options.
This weekend, both clubs will take each other on both in the Sky Bet Championship and in the 'Green Football Cup' where supporters can score 'green goals' for their team by pledging their climate friendly actions.

By Car:
From the West (A47) Exit A47 at A146, following signs for Norwich and Lowestoft. Turn left at the first set of lights at the bottom of the slip-road, then continue to the next set of traffic lights and turn right onto Martineau Lane. Keep in the right-hand lane and at the County Hall roundabout take the second exit. Keep right and turn right at the next set of traffic lights onto King Street – follow this road as it bends to the right over a bridge, with Carrow Road then visible to your right
From the South (A11) Approaching Norwich on the A11, take the fifth exit at Thickthorn roundabout onto the A47, following signs for Great Yarmouth. Having joined the A47, follow the directions listed above to access the stadium.
From Ipswich (A140) Approaching Norwich on the A140, eventually reaching a roundabout as the road meets the A47. Take the third exit at this roundabout onto the A47 towards Great Yarmouth. Follow the road to the next exit (A146) then follow the directions listed ‘From the West’ to access the stadium.
From the East (A47) Exit the A47 at A146, following signs for Norwich and Lowestoft. Turn right at the first set of lights at the bottom of the slip-road, signposted Norwich, then continue to the next set of traffic lights and turn right onto Martineau Lane. Keep in the right-hand lane and at the County Hall roundabout take the second exit. By Public Transport
Rail Norwich Train Station is located less than ten minutes on foot from Carrow Road. When walking out of the station turn left and follow Koblenz Avenue to reach the stadium or alternatively walk straight over at the traffic lights and through the Riverside Leisure complex to reach the stadium.

Bus First Group provide city and county-wide bus services into Norwich. Norwich Bus Station is located approximately one mile from Carrow Road on Surrey Street (NR1 3NX). Park and Ride services are also operational around the city centre.

Parking For visiting supporters travelling on unofficial coaches/minibuses please contact the Norwich City ticket office on 01603 721902 for parking information.
Car Parking is available for first team home matches at County Hall, Martineau Lane Norwich, NR1 2DW which is a 10-minute walk from Carrow Road. No pre-booking available. Price per match is £6, pay on the day via card or cash. Please note, road closures operate immediately before and after matches outside the stadium to allow pedestrians to leave safely.
Resident parking schemes are in place in the streets around Carrow Road and this is strictly enforced and identified through on-street signage. Please DO NOT park in these areas as you will be fined, and please also respect the needs of local residents.
Parking at Morrisons adjacent to the stadium is reserved for store customers only, with penalties imposed for misuse of this car park.
Security & safety
Supporters attending games at Carrow Road are advised of security measures as they enter the stadium on matchdays.
The Club continue to consult with local authorities, including Norfolk Constabulary, with public safety at all events and matchdays at Norwich City of utmost priority to the Football Club. Therefore, similar to those employed at stadiums across the country there will continue to be an enhanced security presence at all matches played at Carrow Road - as well as limitations on items that can be brought into the ground, including restrictions on bag sizes.
Due to the security arrangements, all supporters are advised to arrive at the venue and enter the ground as early as possible. This will allow the required time to carry out these additional security checks that are likely to lengthen queuing times.

  • Banners (over 2m or of an offensive nature)
  • Aerosols
We would advise all fans who bring bags to matches to review the size of the bag and its contents to prevent delays at turnstiles. For security reasons the Club will not be able to store items for supporters during the game.
Please arrive early to allow time for the security searches and checks.
Bags larger than 40cm x 35cm x 19cm (small bag/handbag) will NOT be allowed into the stadium.

By Train
The nearest station to the stadium is Station Approach, Thorpe Road, Norwich, NR1 1EF (0.5 miles, 10 mins walk). Services are run by Greater Anglia.
Accessible taxis are available from the front of the station and assistance is provided by station staff during the hours of train service operation, booking is recommended. Induction loops, accessible ticket machines and an accessible booking office counter are all available at the station. The station has step free access to all platforms with impaired mobility set down available as well as wheelchairs and national key toilets.
By Bus
First Group provide city and county-wide bus services into Norwich. Norwich Bus Station is located approximately one mile from Carrow Road on Surrey Street NR1 3NX (1.6 miles, 22 mins walk). Assistance animals travel free, and all First buses are built for low floor access.
Parking and Drop-off Points
We have 217 car parking spaces, 15 of which are designed for wheelchair access. These are booked on a season-by-season basis (Subject to availability). When parking is not available at the stadium, parking for blue badge holders is available on Kerrison Road. Supporters can use the entrance of the Holiday Inn as a drop off point only.
