The Clarets travel to Germany on Saturday in their final pre-season fixture ahead of the return of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

The Clarets’ pre-season friendly against FSV Mainz 05 in Germany at the MEWA Arena on Saturday will be streamed on Clarets+ in all international territories except for Russia & Germany.
Supporters will be able to buy a match pass for £4.99 to watch live video of the game.

Mainz has an extensive Metro train system which stops at the airport and takes you all the way through Mainz city.

The best way to get from Mainz to Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is by train which takes 16 minutes.
By Bus
If using the public system, catch bus 54 (to BrucknerstraBe), 55 (to TH. Heuss-StraBe) or 58 (to Rathausplatz) from the main railway station (Hauptbahnhot) to get to the MEWA Arena. Get off at Kisselberg / Coface Deutshcland. The ride will only take 5 minutes.
Good alternatives are bus 68 and 69. Get off at Ackermannweg (68) or Fachhochschule (69).

The MEWA Arena is located on the western edge of the city of Mainz, slightly more than 4km from Mainz historic centre and the main rail station.

The MEWA Arena was formerly known as Coface Arena and Opel Arena. It originally opened in 2011 and replaced Main’s Stadion am Bruchweg. The stadium has a capacity of 34,034 (19,700 seated).
