After playing a key role in last season’s FAWNL Northern Premier Division title-winning defence, Emma Siddall has signed a new two-year contract.
The Women’s team defender’s deal will expire in the summer of 2028, with the Club holding a one-year extension option.
“I couldn’t be happier”, Siddall said.
“It feels good to be back, ready for a fresh start at a club I’ve enjoyed playing at for the last three years.
“My individual goals align with what the Club are aiming to do, and we know it will be a big step up this season.
“I’m ready for that, though, and it will be good to get back on the ball and be around the team again.

Siddall initially joined Burnley on dual registration terms from Manchester City in February 2024, making the move permanent seven months later.
The Blackpool-born defender has gone on to cement her place in the starting XI ever since and featured in every one of the team’s 33 matches in 2025/26.
Now 20 years old, Siddall’s versatility allowed her to feature at centre-back, wing-back, and centre midfield.
Attention now turns to 2026/27, in which she will compete at tier two level for the first time in her young career.
