The first part of the September international break round-up as all 12 Clarets away on international duty were involved over the last few days for their respective countries
Sander Berge (Norway)
The Midfielder started in Norway’s friendly against Jordan on Thursday night as the Scandinavian side ran out 6-0 winners in Oslo.
Berge completed 73 minutes at the Ullevaal Stadion where goals from Nusa, Ajer, Larsen, Bjorkan, Finne and Vetlesen sealed the victory before the Norwegians take on Georgia on Tuesday night.

Josh Cullen & Dara O’Shea (Ireland)
Ireland have played both their September international fixtures, after a 2-0 defeat to France in Paris on Thursday night where Josh Cullen played the full 90 minutes and O’Shea was introduced in the 67th minute.
The Boys in Green then finalised their international break with a 2-1 loss at home to the Netherlands on Sunday, where again Cullen featured for the full game but O’Shea was an unused substitute as Wout Weghorst scored the winning goal for the visitors in Dublin.

Connor Roberts (Wales)
Roberts won his 49th cap on Thursday night in Cardiff as Wales held South Korea to a goalless draw.
The full-back played the full 90 minutes in the friendly fixture and is now set to win his 50th cap for the Dragons on Monday night against Latvia.

Luca Koleosho (Italy U20)
Koleosho started in Italy’s 1-1 draw with Germany where the young Italian’s came from behind to ensure the honours were shared in Berlin.
The forward and Italy next face Czech Republic on Monday afternoon to finalise their September international break.

Wilson Odobert (France U21)
Odobert was a substitute in France’s 4-1 win over Denmark on Thursday as Thierry Henry sealed his first win as manager of the young Les Bleus side.
France travel to Slovenia on Monday evening in their second fixture over the international period.

Gudmundsson (Iceland)
Gudmundsson started in Iceland’s 3-1 defeat in Luxembourg and played the full 90 minutes & created the most chances (3) in the game.
Iceland host Bosnia on Monday night in Reykjavik but a seven-point gap now separates the Scandinavian side from the qualification places.

ALL EYES ON THE EURO’S FOR GUDMUNDSSON  - Image 2
Al-Dakhil (Belgium)
Al-Dakhil was an unused substitute in Belgium’s 1-0 victory against Azerbaijan in Baku, which saw them top their 2024 Euro Qualifying group.
The Red Devils host Estonia on Tuesday evening where a win would put Belgium a step closer to EURO’s qualification.

Muric (Kosovo)
Muric was named in Kosovo’s starting XI on Saturday night after coming up against Clarets teammate Zeki Amdouni and Switzerland in Pristina.
A stoppage time equaliser from the hosts saw the points shared in a 2-2 draw with Kosovo set to take on Romania on Tuesday night in Bucharest.

OCTOBER INTERNATIONAL BREAK CALL-UPS - Image 2
Amdouni (Switzerland)
Amdouni played 63 minutes for Switzerland in their 2-2 draw with Kosovo coming up against Muric in the opposition goal.
Despite conceding a late equaliser, Switzerland still top their 2024 Euro Qualifying group ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Andorra in Sion.

Foster (South Africa)
Foster started for South Africa in their 0-0 draw with Namibia on Saturday evening in Johannesburg.
South Africa complete their September international fixtures with a friendly against DR Congo on Tuesday.

Trafford (England U21s)
The Young Lions only have one fixture over this international break with England facing Luxembourg away on Monday evening.
