Burnley Football Club can announce the signing of Maddie Robinson, who joins our women’s team ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The move is Robinson’s first venture into senior football following a successful campaign with Liverpool U21s last time out.
Having signed her contract, she said: “It’s a massive achievement for myself.
“I’ve always dreamed of a professional contract so I’m very proud to get it here, especially at this club.
“Burnley have got big ambitions and I’m very proud to be a part of the success. The girls are all lovely and have welcomed me with open arms.
“I think it’s the right time for me to take the next step into full-time, senior football and I’m really grateful for the opportunity.”
After a brief spell at Tranmere Rovers, Robinson has spent the majority of her childhood playing Academy football for Liverpool.
Despite only turning 18 four months ago, the right-back featured regularly as the Reds were crowned Professional Game Academy Division 2 champions last term.
Her performances also earned her the Players’ Player of the Year award at the end of the season.
