Tony Philliskirk's side ran out 1-0 winners over Everton on Saturday, as the Clarets secured a seventh-place spot for Christmas, in the U18 Northern Premier League.
Joe Smyth-Ferguson's 19th minute opener, proved to be the difference on a crisp morning on Merseyside.
The home side started bright and came clsoe when Lewis Dobbin broke forward on goal, before seeing his goal-bound effort blocked well by Jake Rooney.
The Blues then had another chance, as Charlie Whittaker saw his header fizz just wide of the goal from a corner.
But despite the hosts positive start, it was the visitors who took the lead, after Smyth-Ferguson headed home Fin Armstrong's pin-point cross.
Everton came out strong in the second-half and had another great chance, as Dobbin fired just wide, from Whittaker's through ball.
The Clarets then had a chance of their own moments later, as top-scorer Sam Unwin saw his strike saved by the Toffees' goalkeeper.
And with 80 minutes played, the home side were reduced to 10 men, as Reece Welch was shown a red card for a challenge on Corey Brennan.
The young Clarets will now return to action in the new year, after concluding their final fixture of 2020 with a win and a clean sheet.
