The Under-23s face Wolves this afternoon (Monday) in a Premier League 2 fixture switched to the Clarets’ Barnfield training ground.
The move from Leyland means the game will not be streamed live. Up-dates will be available on Twitter via @ClaretsAcademy with a report and reaction to follow via the club’s official website.
Burnley will be looking to bounce back from a first defeat in six games following last Monday’s 4-1 loss to Leeds United.
The Clarets had a youthful line-up in action against the Division 2 leaders, with U23s’ boss Steve Stone potentially able to add a number of his more experienced players to his squad for the visit of Wolves (KO 1.30pm).
The Midlanders – who beat Burnley 3-2 in the reverse fixture on the opening day of the season – are currently second in the table after three successive away league wins ahead of their Christmas break.
