Following the dramatic midweek win against Rotherham United to make it four wins on the bounce, the last three of those at Turf Moor, Burnley are back on the road on Saturday afternoon - 5th November - taking on Sheffield United (12:30pm KO).
Halil Dervişoğlu grabbed the headlines with his first goal for the Clarets against the Millers, netting in the 100th minute to seal a 3-2 win.
Vincent Kompany’s side had twice trailed, and only levelled up at 2-2 in the first of 10 added minutes through substitute Manuel Benson after Rotherham’s Cohen Bramall was sent off for a second bookable offence.
And having come through midweek unscathed, Burnley’s unbeaten run now stands at 17 games in all competitions ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane. The Clarets sit top of the Sky Bet Championship table.
Where to Watch?
The Clarets will be backed by a terrific sell-out away end of over 2,700 at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United
Having previously spent time in interim charge of the Blades during the back end of their relegation from the Premier League in 2020/21, Paul Heckingbottom was appointed on a permanent basis back in November 2021 following the departure of Slaviša Jokanović.
Guiding United to the Play-Off Semi-Final last term, where they were beaten by eventual winners Nottingham Forest, Heckingbottom has again seen his side enjoy a positive start to the campaign, sat 3rd in the table at the time of writing.
Following a stuttering start, the Yorkshire outfit went nine unbeaten and were top of the division but then faltered, going six without a win. They have most recently though registered back-to-back victories, beating West Brom & Bristol City 2-0 and 1-0 respectively away from home.
Iliman Ndiaye netted the only goal against the Robins, who had George Tanner sent off late on, in midweek. He has eight league goals to his name this term, bettered by only Blackpool’s Jerry Yates and Burnley’s own Jay Rodriguez, both on nine.

1-0 is very much the scoreline of note in meetings between the Clarets & the Blades.
In the most recent meeting on the final day of the 2020/21 Premier League season, hosts United ran out 1-0 winners at Bramall Lane.
With their relegation already confirmed, the Blades – managed by then-caretaker boss Heckingbottom – scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half via David McGoldrick.
Earlier in the season, the Clarets had won by the same scoreline when the pair met at Turf Moor.
But the most famous 1-0 win over Sheffield United for the Clarets undoubtedly came at Wembley in May 2009 thanks to Wade Elliott's wonderstrike which, coming in the Championship Play-Off final, sealed promotion to the Premier League.
