Burnley host West Bromwich Albion on Friday evening – 20th January – when the Clarets will look to maintain their sterling home record so far this season (8pm KO).
Vincent Kompany’s side are unbeaten on home soil to date this term, and have won their last nine games at Turf Moor in all competitions in a run which stretches back to mid-October.
Last time out, the Clarets claimed all three points against Coventry City in East Lancashire with a gritty 1-0 victory.
Centre back Jordan Beyer headed home the only goal of the game eight minutes from time, the first time the German had ever been on the scoresheet in his senior career.
Kompany’s men sit top of the Sky Bet Championship ahead of Friday’s game, now 16 points clear in the automatic promotion places.
Where to watch?

West Bromwich Albion
Midlands outfit West Brom were relegated from the Premier League in the 2020/21 campaign, and finished 10th in the second-tier last term with Steve Bruce taking over back in February 2022.
By October 2022, having won one of their opening 13 league games, Bruce had departed and was replaced by Carlos Corberan.
The Spaniard has been in charge for 11 league games, winning nine of those and losing just twice with a run which has seen the Baggies rise to 6th, occupying the last play-off spot ahead of their trip to Turf Moor.
Corberan’s side were 2-0 down inside 10 minutes away at Luton Town last weekend but came back to win 3-2 with goals from Daryl Dike, Jayson Molumby & Conor Townsend. They also prevailed 4-0 at home against Vanarama National League outfit Chesterfield 4-0 in an Emirates FA Cup replay in midweek.
The last time we met
Back in early September, the reverse fixture ended in a 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns, also on a Friday night.

Jay Rodriguez put the Clarets ahead from the penalty spot half-an-hour in after Nathan Tella had been felled by Baggies goalkeeper David Button, but Brandon Thomas-Asante came off the bench to net a late equaliser for the hosts with the points shared.
That was the third consecutive draw between the two Clubs, who have gone toe-to-toe 134 times competitively.
A win on Friday would be a first success over West Brom at Turf Moor since 2009, and a first in the league since the opening day of the 2007/08 season.
