Burnley are back on home soil for the first time this year on Saturday afternoon – 14th January – when Coventry City are the visitors to Turf Moor (3pm KO).
Vincent Kompany’s side have won their last eight in a row at home in all competitions, and have kept up their good run of form in the last two on the road.
Starting 2023 with a win in the league at Swansea City, the Clarets then ran out 4-2 victors away against Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth last weekend in the Emirates FA Cup.
A brace each from Anass Zaroury and Manuel Benson were enough to secure the win on the South Coast, setting up a Fourth Round trip to Ipswich Town in the competition later this month.
There are two Sky Bet Championship games to come first though, both of which at home, starting with Coventry’s visit to East Lancashire. Burnley head into the clash top of the table.

Coventry City
This season is the third consecutive as a second-tier outfit for Mark Robins’ Coventry.
At the start of the campaign, City endured issues with their pitch at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Postponing four of their first five scheduled home games in the league, they sat bottom of the table until 20th October.
Since then though, the Sky Blues have worked their way up the ladder and at the time of writing sit 14th.
Their visit to Turf Moor however comes on the back of four games without a win, most recently being knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup by National League outfit Wrexham AFC last Saturday.
Defender Jonathan Panzo was sent off for City against the Welsh side in a 4-3 defeat at the CBS Arena.
The last time we met
Burnley made the trip to the West Midlands in early October when Coventry were still rooted to the bottom of the table.
Nathan Tella scored the only goal in a tight game towards the end of the first half, taking down a chipped ball over the top from Josh Cullen to guide home with a neat finish.
The Clarets have lost just one of their last nine meetings with the Sky Blues, and only 12 of 49 competitive meetings from 1911 onwards.
A win on Saturday would be a first success over Coventry at Turf Moor since 2008.
