The Clarets travel to Anfield on Saturday for their first away fixture of the new Premier League season.
The match is exactly seven months since Burnley’s memorable 1-0 win ended Liverpool’s 68-game unbeaten home run.
It will be the first Anfield game played in front of a full house since Liverpool lost at home to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in March 2020.
The 529-day wait is over on Saturday and Clarets’ defender James Tarkowski is among those relishing the prospect of a special atmosphere as Sean Dyche’s men look to make it three in a row without defeat at Liverpool.
“It must be great if you’re a Liverpool player,” said Tarkowski.
“They must be really looking forward to it and I’m looking forward to it too.

“It’s going to be a test and we’ve dealt a lot of times as underdogs quite well.
“We’re massive underdogs this weekend so we go there looking to cause an upset.
“There’s nothing better than a packed house and to go to the best stadiums in the country, full for the first time in 18 months or so, it should be a really good day.”
