Sam Vokes
Born in Southampton, Vokes began his career with Bournemouth after rising through the Cherries’ academy and going on to feature nearly 60 times between 2006-2008.
The striker earnt himself a move to Wolves ahead of the 2008/09 campaign, where the Welshman spent four years in total, which included various loan spells and two of those moves were to Lancashire and the south coast.
Vokes initially joined Burnley on loan from Wanderers in November 2011, which saw the forward score twice in nine games before then joining the Seagulls in January 2012 on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The towering striker scored on his full home debut against Millwall for Albion and finished the second half of the season with three goals in 15 games for Brighton.
Vokes then made his return to Turf Moor that summer, as the attacker signed a three-year deal after joining from Wolves and quickly established himself amongst the team, making nearly 50 appearances in his first campaign for the Clarets.
The current Wycombe Wanderers forward helped Burnley seal promotion to the Premier League in his second season at the Club. Although the Clarets were relegated after one year in the top-flight, Vokes played a crucial role in Sean Dyche’s side securing promotion once again back to the Premier League in the 2015/16 season.
Over 250 appearances, 64 goals, two Championship promotions and a UEFA Europa League qualification campaign later, Vokes departed in January 2019 and will be forever known as a ‘Clarets Legend’ at Turf Moor.

Stephen Ward
After joining Wolves from Irish side Bohemians in 2006, Ward cemented himself within the Wanderers XI and became a regular starter at Molineux.
Following seven seasons with Wolves and over 200 appearances, the full-back joined Brighton on a season-long loan ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.
Ward played nearly 50 games for the Seagulls, as the Albion narrowly missed out on a place in the play-off final after losing to Derby County in the semis.
The summer of 2014 then saw the defender end his time at Wolves permanently and sign for Burnley, as the Irish international penned a three-year deal at Turf Moor prior to the upcoming Premier League campaign.
Ward only featured 10 times during his first year at the Club due to injuries, but the left-back soon became a regular in the starting line-up and helped Burnley achieve promotion back to the top-flight in his second season.
The defender departed the Clarets in the summer of 2019 after making over 100 appearances in five years in Lancashire, as Ward signed for Stoke City.

Gifton Noel-Williams
London-born Noel-Williams made his name at Watford after playing nearly 200 games during a seven year stay, before leaving in 2003 to join Stoke City. Following a two year spell with the Potters, the striker then arrived at Turf Moor in the summer of 2005 on a free transfer.
Noel-Williams got off to a strong start in his Burnley career, when the forward scored on his debut for the Club against Crewe Alexandra on the opening day, but midway through the season he signed for Brighton on loan and made seven appearances in the second half of the 2005/06 season.
After returning to Burnley in the summer from his brief loan spell on the south coast, Noel-Williams grabbed his first professional hat-trick as the Clarets beat Barnsley 4-2, before the striker eventually moved on after two years in Lancashire to join Spanish side Real Murcia.
