Burnley Women will play either Peterborough United or Wallsend BC in the third round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
The Clarets have been drawn as the home side, with the tie set to take place on Sunday 14th December.
Lou Roberts’ side progressed to this stage with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Norwich City at Burnley Training Centre yesterday afternoon.
First-half strikes from Charlie Chadwick, Thea Paul and Emma Siddall were added to by Aimee Kelly after the break, as the Clarets built on their 12-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in the first round.
Peterborough United and Wallsend BC's second round tie on Sunday 23rd November was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch, and is now set to take place on Sunday 30th November.
Full details regarding our third round tie will be confirmed in due course.
