Scott Parker is calling on his players to produce another strong performance at home, as Burnley prepare to welcome Newcastle United to Turf Moor on Tuesday night.

Hot-on-the-heels of Saturday's stalemate versus Everton, Parker's men are back in action tomorrow evening, and the Clarets gaffer spoke to the media ahead of the clash in BB10.

READY TO GO AGAIN

'It's the busiest time of the year.

'No sooner have you finished assessing the fall-out from one game, than you're on to the next one.

'We've prepared as we always do and we're looking forward to another tough Premier League fixture at home, against a good Newcastle side.'

TEAM NEWS

'Everyone needs to be ready at this time of the year - the games come so thick and fast.

"Maxine is close, we'll see where he's at ahead of the game, but hopefully he'll be in the frame for a return.

'We're going to need everybody to be ready to play their part over the coming days and weeks.'

'There's clearly a difference in Newcastle's home and away performances and results.

'We'll look to take advantage of those reasons that may contribute to that, but fundamentally, we're focused on ourselves and getting things right so we can put on a positive performance again.
