Scott Parker met the media earlier this week ahead of this weekend's Premier League fixture against Everton.
The Clarets host the Toffees at Turf Moor on Saturday, as Parker's men look to build on their 1-1 draw at AFC Bournemouth last time out.
Here's the main talking points from his pre-match press conference ...
FOOT TO THE FLOOR
"We've a busy schedule coming up.
"We're foot to the floor as always, we'll be training hard over the coming days, to ensure we're ready for Everton on the 27th.
"We're fully at it - and preparing for another really important game for us."
TOFFEES TEST
"I've got so much admiration for David (Moyes) and the job he's doing at Everton.
"He's an incredible man, very honest - and I've always enjoyed his company. I've the utmost respect for him.
"Everton are a very well organised team, it'll be a tough game - but we're looking forward to it."
TURF TALK
"I'm really hopeful we can produce good performances and results at Turf Moor over the coming matches.
"We need to make this a difficult place to come, because these fixtures coming up at home are going to be vital for us.
"I reference it constantly - but we're going to need our home supporters for sure.
"The run we've been on over the last few weeks, I understand it's not been easy for our supporters - but we're going to need their support on Saturday, that energy in the stadium that this time of the year always generates."
STAYING IN THE FIGHT
"We're aware of the situation we're in.
"As always, we need to focus on ourselves - we need to keep nudging away, keep improving as a team, keep picking up points.
'"We will fight with character – honest work, discipline, and togetherness.
"This group isn’t distracted by noise or hype. They prepare properly, they stick to the process, and they’re learning what this level demands."
BACK TO BASICS
"We definitely stripped it back at the weekend - we took it back to basics.
"There were certain characteristics in our performance that helped us get a result.
"It was a big result for the team, ending a losing streak in the last minute - it was a big psychological boost for everyone.
"There's elements we need to improve upon, but it was a big result for us."
