With Head Coach Scott Parker now in the Burnley dugout at Turf Moor, the former Hammers, Chelsea and Spurs man insists he ‘knows what this place is about’ when asked about his past experiences of Turf Moor and wants the fans to play their part.
The ex-Club Brugge boss said: “I’ve played in this stadium, I’ve managed at this stadium, I know what this place is about and what it means.
“The understanding of the fans and what they expect from this team, and they are going to be a key part this season.
“It’s always been a tough place to come, and a lot of people know that it’s an intense place to come and play.
“It’s always been a difficult place for visiting teams and we want that to continue.”
