Clarets duo shortlisted for final month of the season monthly awards

Head Coach Scott Parker and captain Josh Brownhill have both been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month and Player of the Month awards respectively.

The Clarets enjoyed a successful final month of the 2024/25 campaign, as Parker guided his side to promotion with five wins from six games, scoring 13 goals and conceding just four times.

In those six games, Brownhill was a key figure with the midfielder scoring three goals throughout the month, including the winning goal against Sheffield United that secured Burnley's promotion back to the Premier League.

Shortlisted for the Manager of the Month award alongside Parker is Leeds United's Daniel Farke, Alex Neil of Millwall and Valerien Ismael from Blackburn Rovers.

Meanwhile, Brownhill is up for the player award against Manor Solomon of Leeds United, Swansea City's Harry Darling and Mihailo Ivanovic from Millwall.

The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
