Burnley duo nominated for December's Sky Bet Championship Manager and Player Of The Month awards

Scott Parker and Josh Brownhill have both been named on the shortlists for the Sky Bet Championship's official manager and player of the month awards.

The Burnley boss was named in the manager of the month category after the Clarets remained unbeaten throughout December, conceding just three goals and picking up a memorable win at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane.

Leeds United's Daniel Farke, QPR manager Marti Cifuentes and Danny Rohl of Sheffield Wednesday are also in the running.

Josh Brownhill was named one of December's best players after grabbing two assists and three goals, including the winner at Norwich City, in the final month of 2024.

Also nominated for December's player of the month are former Claret Jimmy Dunne at QPR, Portsmouth's Callum Lang and Coventry City's Ephron Mason-Clark.

The winners, chosen by a judging panel consisting of former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies, will be announced on Friday.
